spt

here i am, labor day, 2007. the summer behind me seems like it flew by in a heartbeat. and yet, if i take the time to think through each and every week, there were so many things going on.

i love that this photo shows my disheveled hair and ruddy complexion. it can only mean one thing: i've just gotten back from my walk!! i gave in to the heat and managed to let my walking routine slip by for the entire month of august!! aside from feeling sluggish, i've also realized how much i've come to crave that *me* time. so, here i go again!

i look more relaxed in this photo than i have felt in a loooong time. i am ready for my family to settle into the school-year routine. i feel more focused and more creative this time of year. more confident, too. (i'm not sure why that is.) but i'm gonna run with it!

Lelly, I'm so glad you've got SPT going again...and that you're able to walk again--walking is my sanity.

I love the Mr. Linky--it will make it so easy to see everyone's posts. Thanks again for hosting this.

Glad you feel less tired. Sorry, I did not have the time to get ready for this STP, but promise, I will try to be ready at time for the next one. I should have a little bit more freetime now that school started again.

I agree, this time of year gives you a boost. August is always lousy for me. I keep saying I'm not going to have August anymore, but then I would miss September.

I'm so happy that SPT is back and think it's cool that you have this set up so we can link to the people who have done it.

Fun and challenging to be back at it with the SPT's. I haven't had a chance to check out anyone else's posts, and I probably won't get to it till Thursday!
I peeked at your SPT this morning before I went out for my own run, which is a back-to-school routines thing for me too.

SPT! And you feel particularly creative at this time of year? Yikes, what kind of themes will you come up with? How exciting...!

Love that flushed look! Glad you thought to take a self-portait after your walk.

I love that you're back to taking time for yourself, and for spt, of course! You do look relaxed, and that is always a good thing.
