spt

when i first dreamt up this spt challenge, i honestly thought i would get a lot more accomplished. goodness knows, i have about 14 different things to *do* that i just can't seem to get around to *doing*...

and? when it all came down to it, at 11:00 last night, i hadn't *done* any one of them!! what i accomplished, at 11:03 last night, was to organize my mail supplies. we had gotten a wonderful, beautiful stationary box as a wedding gift. only, the stationary wasn't, exactly, me. so, after i cleaned up 7 years worth of dust, i emptied out the stationary (packaged it up to use for business correspondence), and filled it up with good mail supplies!!

i've been meaning to do this for a long time. i'm so glad i finally got around to it!

I'm afraid that my post is more about what I didn't get done than what I did get done, too! Love the good mail supplies kit!

having supplies in one area probably makes it easier to actually sit down and write the cards out. i have stuff in my desk, upstairs, in the dining room(don't ask) and the travel kit i made to take in the car or to appts, etc.

i like the box!

*sniff* that's twice now I've clicked on someone's SPT linky and couldn't read the blog because it was private. Woe is me.

Lelly, your stationery box is a great idea! I love the convenience of email and IM, but hand-written letters and cards have been the tragic victim of the electronic revolution. Good for you, keeping up a lovely tradition that I hope will never die out completely.

Great SPT - thanks for the motivation!

Oh woe, Lelly, I am late with my SPT :-(

At least seeing yours gives me a sense of 'scale'! Hahaha. I was dreading that everyone would be posting great physical or mental feats, like running half-marathons or finishing a bumper book of Sudoku puzzles.

Sorting your stationery is nice and normal, and must be very satisfying I agree. I love things being 'boxed'!!

It's so cnice to have all of that stuff in order. I need to tackle my "craft box" that's really just a pile of unorganized stickers and ribbon and stationary! Yikes!

Thnkas for a challenge that encouraged us to STOP procrastinating and move to action! I think I will continue with this one, tackling one project at a time!

You're brilliant!

I told myself if I ever got a blog I would do this. Perfect one to start on!

It took me until today to post about it, but I did it!

How delightful that your task was to organize your stationery supplies, what a fun project!

Lelly, I love the motivation this SPT gave us all. It was the nudge to do something I've needed to do for a loooong while.

Glad you got your stuff organized...I love the feeling of being organized.

I so love the goods that you put together. How fantastic. I think I'll be posting a SP Thursday tomorrow. I loved the weeks theme and have definitely been meaning to get around to it (and a half million other items, of course!).
