spt

altius. of a different nature.

during nights that we didn't have the show, or practice, jack and i tried to have quiet nights. we would watch the Olympics and play board games. how perfect that we happened to have the Olympic Challenge trivia game?!? (the Hilton Family, which includes Hampton Inns, is an official Olympic partner. this game is just another one of those fun "perks.")

(please excuse the look of total exhaustion on my face!)
we had a lot of fun, despite the fact that the trivia was very challenging. thank goodness for multiple choice answers!! (i must confess, trivia games are not my forte.)

i chuckled when i saw this printed on the box:

can you believe the Olympics are almost over??

I'm so sad the Olympics are almost over.
Altus...your were inspired with this month's SPTs.
Trivia's not my thing either.

oh man, i want that game! i love trivia.

i didn't get to watch any of the olympics. zippo. nadda. i don't have a tv and my computer is lame so i couldn't watch anything on nbc's site. kind of a downer.

Very cool game! I have to do a lot of replay computer olympics. Not much of a night owl. :-)

That sounds like a game I would enjoy, I love trivia especially when there are multiple choice answers.

I'm terrible at trivia games. I tell myself I have far weightier/non-trivial things to remember. Still, I'm thinking my job doesn't have enough perks! The Olympics have been fun to watch, and even more fun to share with your children.

What another fun perk of your job, but it doesn't quite compare to the camera. Board games and the Olympics sounds like a fun night to me.

Perks. Sometimes they make the job. I'm glad you've had some good ones lately.

I'm sad they're almost over. It's been fun to look forward to them.

What a fun perk- of course nothing like the camera! Working at a hospital, I don't get perks. They are the cheapest institution around!
We have been watching the Olympics till all hours, ourselves. It would be fun to play a game while watching.

I am to the point that I really need the olympics to be over so I can get some sleep.

I am a total trivia geek. Most of the time I can't remember my name but I can recall stupid, useless facts.

Never heard of that game before...sounds like fun, though I'm not the best trivia guru.

I have been trying not to peek to see how things are going in China, and waiting for them to be on tv, and even if I do look...I am still up at 1:00 watching! That might explain why I am wanting to sleep all morning

I too have never heard of that. Very cool!

we would love that game at our house, my kids have been totally into the olympics. and though there are still events left, i must admit that since michael phelps is done, we're all kind of bummed out!

What is more American than a good board game! I will miss watching Phelps at night!

Trivia? Yikes - so unfortunately not my strong point! It looks like it could be a fun game though!

Altius Games! How cool is that?

We are still working our way through many hours of recorded Olympics. We had to give in and get some sleep! Still plenty of Olympic fun around here...

I wouldn't be very good at it but i think it would be fun for reminders about past Olympics.

You get cool perks.

I lost Olympic steam after the water and gymnastic events were over. The running stuff just looks too darn hot. I have plenty of hot where I am, don't need to watch it too.

Perfect timing for that game! I would lose badly, I'm afraid. I have not watched the Olympics since I was in elementary school. No idea who does what. I didn't even know that handball and beach volley ball were events!

How fun. Tom and I spent a lot of nights watching the olympics and putting together puzzles. I mean you can only concentrate on a two hour marathon for so long!

Just wanted you to know after the closing of the Olympics tonight I was thinking of you and your wonderful site!
Hope you are well and happy

Cool trivia game--and cool Hilton "perk".

I probably wouln't do too well with Olympic trivia, I like it in the moment, but can't remember it worth beans.
