spt

citius.

allow me to introduce you to someone you might not know. i haven't spent much time with her lately, but in honor of this week's spt, i'm going to invite her out for a walk around the block.

why don't you go say hello?

she is, by no means, fast. in fact, she hasn't even put on her running shoes in over a month. she has goals (Olympic? well, maybe not...) but she exists. and she would like to thank spt for helping her to remember that.

did you have fun with this challenge? i'm counting down until the 2010 Winter Games...

It's funny that I'm first a lot. I guess most of the SPTers are MST or PST gals.

I love that you created your own fun run! Cute logo. I'd go jump in a lake after a run too.

Yea SPT's! Fun month Lelly.

Way to go Lelly! I was just thinking moments ago about how I haven't gone to the gym in 3 months!! What is up with that? How can I watch the Olympics (I'm still watching stuff I recorded) and feel so inspired, but then be content to stay on the couch?

I haven't gone for a walk or a run in months myself. It's just too darn hot to even think about it. Hopefully things will get back to normal for both of us and then exercising can become part of the program again...hopefully.

well done! it take monumental will power to get yourself out of the front door as we get back into routines, something we all know but rarely overcome.

congrats on getting out there and running. It is hard to do sometimes. This month was hard for me with the SPTs. I am new to them in general but I look forward to trying to keep up with everyone and getting to know more people through them!

Way to go creating your own 5K. Even though I don't run if I lived close to you, you can bet I would attempt it. Have fun!!

Yeah for you! I start up my early morning walking/running on the first day of school. I have not been very consistant this summer.

Go. Lelly. Go.

What a great project. I'm glad you've had such a high summer.

Oooooh, exciting!! Good luck with that!

Yes, I know you've been busy this summer, Facebook and everything...*blush*
Gosh, I'm quite addicted to Facebook now. It doesn't help that I'm embroiled in a non-stop poke-athon with an old work colleague. I need to get me one of them there lives I hear talk of.

Erin's still 'hearting' Jack, by the way, and has a card to send him made out of recycled sheep poo. Would he appreciate that, dyathink?

Keep truckin' girl! I started running in January and have become rather addicted. I've not been out in a week and a half and boy are my emotions letting me know it!

I'm not fast but I'm steady and I want to do this for me. There's so many reasons for running but time for myself is the biggest.

Maybe we'll meet up someday at an event. I'd love to do your 5K but have already made plans and have another event lined up.

Whaddya think? Rather than a blogger snacker we can have a blogger jogger!

GO LELLY GO...wish I lived nearby and I'd run right alongside you! I put on my running shoes this last week too, after a little break from the treadmill...it feels so nice!

i love it, you're an inspiration! did you happen to catch brian williams' broadcast last night? there was a whole report on running and a big study that was done on how runners live longer and have better quality of lives...and they need knee replacements LESS OFTEN! who would've guessed it? good for you!

You sing, dance AND run?! Wow. I never knew it. You are quite the woman, Lelly.

Good for you. I am so impressed with so many people in this blogosphere, but I guess I have to save that until next month. Sorry, I wasn't up for one more this month. Too many goodbyes said this week and life was way too fast- Hey there you go, that was my SPT. Live keeps getting Faster!
