one of those weeks

this week i:

made a Flip video and entered it in a contest
played with dolls
(for the Flip video)
bought some mardi gras beads
picked up the ingredients for soup
thought about cleaning the house for Soup Swap
had a Lee press-on nail incident
went to a Cub Scout meeting
thought about going to a Zumba class
didn't make it to the Zumba class
had a big "surprise" inspection at the hotel
scored an Outstanding! (12 in a row!!)

Do we get to see your video? And, I for sure, would like more information about the Lee Press on nails incident. I had a younger cousin who once tearfully confessed to my grandma that she didn't want to grow up because she didn't want to have to wear Lee Press on Nails. So funny, as no one she knew wore them, but the commercials on TV must have convinced her she would need them.

Congrats on your Outstanding!

12 outstandings!!!
fantastic :)-- it's a good thing no one does surprise inspections in my life-- holy crap-- that would be so bad.

we didn't have scouts yesterday because of a winter day camp on Monday- shhh... I was giddy about it. Plus I don't have to go to the day camp- bonus! I don't do cold.

Lee press on nails? do tell??

I have decided I hate all of the soups I make. soup just taste better if someone else makes it.

I want to see your video.

Are you heading back to New Orleans for Mardi Gras?

The Lee-press on incident sounds funny to me.

Congratulations on your Outstanding inspection!

Yes, we'd love details, but I am just thrilled to see your name at the top of my blog roll.

I'm with Patsy -- I would be in SO much trouble if there were surprise inspections at my house!! Shudder.

I am ever so curious about the Lee Press on nails...

We need to know about these press ons!

I was thinking the same thing as Patsy. Thank goodness there are no surprise inspections at my house! I would NOT get an outstanding!

I wish I could participate in Soup Swap via the mail! yummmmm. I love soup and I make several kick-ass recipes.

{hint hint}

I shudder to think of a surprise inspection of my place. Okay, okay, home is not the same as a place of employment....but I think that almost makes it worse that I'd score so low.

You rock.

And. I love your new header. Someday I'll get around to learning new things.

Maybe.

Sounds like a great week to me!

I'm sending happy soup-swap thoughts your way. Wish I was doing one, too, but alas, ain't gonna happen.

Enjoy your soup swap!
Let me know if you need any Mardi Gras treasures!

My home would not rate an outstanding upon a surprise inspection. Glad your hotel did, I'm sure it felt great.

My favourites are the 'thought about' ones. haha! The surprise inspection is a shocker. The fiends. Really not at all surprised, though, that you scored 'Outstanding'. Maybe I'll just sell up here and come and live in your hotel? It'd be dreamy!

No surprise inspections around here please!! Shiver & run.

Would love to see the video.
