spt - my holiday is filled with joy

Christmas trees make me happy.

in the past week, i have:

performed with my vocal group (Without A Net) on live local television;
attended matty's company Christmas party;
rode on the cub scout float in the first of two parades;
had lunch with my dad and two sisters to plan "writing" a musical;
attended my own company party;
heard a high school Christmas concert;
and, yes, i've run out of gas.

it seems like a lot, but now we have 2/3rds of our holiday commitments behind us.

tonight, we will enJOY a quiet evening at home as we put the ornaments on our own tree... after which, i will curl up in my pyjayzees and finish up my Christmas cards.

you?

You live a full life, Lelly, my dear. And that is definitely something to enJOY!

The beginning of the month really packs it in, but having a smooth second half is almost worth it. Rode on the Cub float! Wow! THAT is Joy!

on top of all of the other stuff, you are my inspiration!

we are gearing up for serious holiday hoopla over here!

concert last night, scott's bday on wed, cass concert on thurs, and little gathering this weekend. then the weekend road trips begin.

but still, JOY!

oh ps. I added a link without changing the address. Can you delete it so I can try again?

Well, I'm glad for you that 2/3 of your holiday events are over, maybe the closer to Christmas the more peaceful it will get?

I think there should be video of you performing live on TV -- how cool is that?

You have been busy. It must be a nice feeling to finally have a quiet evening at home. I have had relatively few activities so far, but next week will be a challenge. But a good one. Have fun decorating your tree.

I'm wondering if you constantly wake in the night wondering if you missed something you were suppose to do that day. It must be so hard to keep track!

Good to hear that you are going to relax tonight.

Live performance....is there a place to view this? I would love to hear you sing.
Happy Tuesday!

I can actually hear you say the way you spelled PJ's! I still have a lot to do to be done with engagements and such - but it's all in fun - or it shouldn't be done - right?! Enjoy your quietness!

So much fun stuff!

I love your clever self-portrait. You never cease to amaze me with your clever-ity. (I think I made that word up just now.)

What fun! From the parties to the planning to the pjayzees.

I love your topics this month. Such a great idea to help us capture specific moments.

So fun Lelly! I wish we had more going on in the first weeks of the month instead of all the week before Christmas!

Love seeing you in that ornament!

Ooh! I wish I could see your TV performance!

Singing with a group would be the only thing that would improve my holiday...

Hooray for relaxing at home, too.

Sounds great and busy, but to have that all done at this early of a dates, fabulous! An evening of decorating and PJ's sounds delightful. Enjoy some down time for me, alas I have meetings, my down time will soon come. :-)

I am so trying to keep it VERY simple. We have to, after tuition and the wedding. But, it's all good as it is helping us all to focus on the beauty of Christmas...

Tonight we worked on our Christmas cards too.

Thank you to Jack, love Erin

Your blog is full of Holiday Cheer too. What a cute banner.

Stop it, I just read this (Erin waded in on me the other day for that reply above). A musical?? How brilliant would that be. What on EARTH is it about? I just wouldn't have a clue what to base a musical on - oh, hang on, no...the wonderful world of blogging, perhaps? I'd probably end up doing something awful, like that 'Springtime for Hitler' song in The Producers :-/

I'm glad you got snuggled up in your jim-jams and twiddled with the tree. I've just had a big, hot coffee and a mince pie in front of mine. Nice!
