spt

i've mentioned before that my father is a keeper of fine vegetable gardens. thank goodness he's still at it, because that passion is not something that has been passed along to me! at Easter, Grampie had his granchildren help him plant a few things in the new garden. last night, we were treated to the first beans of the season.

no fancy food prep here! we ate them au naturel!!

Not that I get dolled up everyday, or even most days, but I have to admit I was relieved to not be taking a photo of myself first thing in the morning!

THANK YOU for doing this each week!

I love raiding my dad's garden! I always say the best garden is the one in someone else's yard. haha! Those green beans look so yummy!!

Love spt! Thanks. Green beans growing in my parents garden are one of my childhood memories too. Soon I will grow my own. promise. :)

You're harvesting? We JUST planted here! And it looks like we picked a good day too, because today we woke up to ---you'll never guess---more snow! I hope the bedding out plants don't die!

I love fresh garden veggies. :) My kids are begging for me to grow them this year. Their faves are cucumbers, tomatoes and summer squash.
