the giving tree

as i was putting away the fall decorations yesterday, i stumbled when i came to our giving tree. this is the first year we have done one. it created a wonderful visual for us throughout the Thanksgiving season.

this is definitely a tradition we will carry on. although, it might become a more permanent addition to our decor!

I love it, Lelly. I'm thinking about doing something similar for Christmas...noting the gifts those around us (in & out of home) give in the daily dailies.

You know, your giving tree is a fabulous idea (I also really like that picture with the lamplight in the background and the close up of the glass jar/vase). I meant to do one this year, but of course didn't. Maybe I can do something like it for Christmas. Okay, I AM going to!

We had so much fun putting our Christmas tree up a little early this year and using it as a Gratitude Tree.

LOVE this! I definitely will add this to our Thanksgiving traditions. Thank you for sharing. And, for making it simple enough not to overwhelm : )

It is wonderful that you take time to do things like that with your family. You continue to make good memories.

Very nice idea! We have had a gratitude poster this year, made by my daughter. But I love the tree because it doubles as fun home decor, too.

That's a great idea for a November activity and I can see how it could be a year-round decor item.

How can it be applied to Christmas, I mean I KNOw how... but do you have an idea of how that I can lazily copy? :)
