wishful thinking

i wish i was inspired to create new things from my old things.

i wish i felt like i was on top of this mother/corporate life.

i wish it was 15 degrees cooler.

i wish the dog hadn't slipped out this morning.

i wish i felt excited for something. anything.

i wish i had a girls trip on the horizon.

i wish i could love the things i have.

i wish i knew what to make for dinner tonight.

i wish "the homework hour" wasn't so painful.

i wish i wasn't plagued by OCD'isms.

i wish i didn't suffer from depression.

i wish i could sleep.

i wish i had new music on my MP3 player.

i wish it was easier.

Thinking of you and wishing you a less melancholy day. I have recently been enjoying King of Anything by Sara Bareilles if that helps:)

it's definitely challenging when my "besties" are scattered all about the interwebs!!

@lucy - love that song! it kind of sums up my feelings about too many people right now ;)

Oh, Lelly! I'm sorry you're having a down day. I hope things look brighter for you soon!

I wish I knew what to fix for dinner, too.

And amen on the homework hour. Painful.

Hopefully your weekend will provide some respite and uplift?

(You know you are awesome anyway, right?)

Plud, let's face it, some of us are just destined to shop more and "make-do" less. So go forth and give yourself some shopping therapy. It will help! :) And think of all the good you'll be doing for the economy, right?

I am so sorry you are feeling all of these things. Remember what is important. Life is definitely not always fair or easy. I am having to learn that in a painful way (and you have been a fabulous friend through it). When in doubt, don't take it a day at a time, take it an hour at a time. Or a minute at a time. And always remember your friends to lean on :).
