That is fantastic! I admire people who get up and do something instead of just complaining about the problem. This is coming from a bit of a complainer, lol. Good for you!
Meant to tell you this earlier: At our high school complex we have a brick walkway near a garden and you can purchase bricks. As room mom I collected $ from parents and we had a brick donated in the teachers name, with the year and said love, 2-B. The kids loved it. The parents loved it adn the teacher loved it.
Not sure if this is something that could be "marketed" to the schools, or better yet, the parents? Our school actually sent out letters to all of the room parents in the district and used our brick as an example of a great way to honor our teachers. Just a thought...
Wow Nice going. I should be more like that. I keep hoping that the new place I live will have great things to do, a good library system, etc, etc. Well, I am now inspired. You are my hero.
I love your new green scheme, and what a great article! Good for you. So many people would be content to complain about it, not many actually step up and do -- love it!
Wow, I'm impressed! What a great idea and big undertaking, that's so cool.
Also, why do I feel like I have no idea what you really look like? It's bizarre because I've seen pictures of you but you look different in every single one! I fear I wouldn't recognize you if I ran into somewhere.
