spt

i am having one of those mornings where it feels *extra-special* that i got out of bed!! ever had one of those mornings?!?

as i was coming-to over a cup of lukewarm coffee (blech), i racked my brain for examples of my *extra-special*-ness. i had a really tough time coming up with something that felt special. everything felt so-so. again, i'm chalking it up to just-one-of-those-mornings.

i'm up and moving now, getting ready for a 9:30 meeting where we are going to order new carpet for the hotel (fun! spending other people's money!) so here's my spt: short, sweet and *extra-special.*

i have hazel eyes. and i LOVE them.

how about you?!?

Wow! I am on the ball with this spt, can't believe I'm the first to comment!

I LOVE your hazel eyes - very special! I also have hazel eyes and I love that uniqueness that they are not blue and not brown!

This was definitely a challenge to think of something extra special about me...way to make me think!

Love it - and you do have great hazel eyes!

My high school boyfriend had them and I was convinced we'd get married and all my amer-asian kids would have them!!! Alas, no HS boyfriend anymore, no hazel eyes.

Very fun SPT! Thanks Lelly

beautiful eyes!!!

yep, i have had that kind of day. and today it is pouring down rain and cold so that makes "getting out of bed" even more difficult.

beautiful eyes...

Thanks for doing these challenges, and sharing them.
I now have something documented, "written down" that I otherwise would not. I love that I am telling part of my story through this!
THANK YOU!

You have a really beautiful blend of hazel...mine are too much on the brown side. Great SPT, Lelly! I really had to think about this one.

I had hazel eyes until adulthood. Now they're green. My kids all have hazel eyes too. We'll see if they stay that way.

I enjoyed this SPT. I had quite the "aha" moment when my idea finally came to me.

Thanks!

I have hazel eyes too. I like them now, but it took me a while to feel that way. I always wanted a 'true' colour. Extra dark brown eyes were my dream. My sister has these amazing sea-green eyes that you notice as soon as you look at her.

I married a man with very blue eyes, which he was kind enough to pass to our daughter.

This SPT was difficult for me. I'm glad I did it!
2 down, many more to go!

Very fun SPT to think about. Hope I don't gross people out with mine. :)

You do have great eyes. Funny since I have never seen you in person I didn't know that.

It's amazing how "Hazel" encompasses so many different shades. Yours are a great color.

Oh, sista. I'm with you: I racked my brain for extra-specialness and came up with...regular shmoe.

And. If you read my SPT, the comment at the end (to you), is tongue-in-cheek. I'm sure you'd be able to decipher that, but makin' sure.

You have great hazel eyes. I have always loved having them myself and it is looking like Mya is getting them more and more.

Hope the rest of your day was, well, better!

Well, this may be a record first for you... a guy participated in the SPT. And I've always been a fan of hazel eyes, especially my wife's!!

Special is a double edged word, isn't it?
I do think your beautiful eyes are special, but I hope tomorrow morning isn't the same kind of "extra special" you had today!

I love hazel eyes! Yours are beautiful! My husband has hazel eyes.
This was a challenge. I am not good at the extra special about me.
But thanks for the dig deep challenge.
