spt

i topped off my tank on saturday afternoon. we're currently paying $3.53 for regular gas (at the cheapest station in town.)

to be fair, i had just about a quarter tank of gas already, so this could have been worse.

with some nice discounts, i could get a room for two nights at the hampton inn orem, UT for $58.00.

too bad i can't use my rebate to buy an airline ticket to get me there!! (i'm so sad to miss meeting all of you this time around! have fun!)

how did you *spend* your money?

I REally wish you could be here!!!!
Someday I really want to meet you miss Lelly!
Even though I'm not sure if I'm doing this spt--- oh the wedding will soon be over, I hope- I spent 3.27 a gallon yesterday at costco which was almost 20 cents cheaper than everywhere else. Most stations are about 4.47. CRAZYINESS

Really fun challenge Lelly! I wish I was going to Blogapalooza too!

I always love your challenges! Thanks-

This was a great challenge. I've been trying to get the word out to stop buying gas at the major gas stations in hopes if they aren't getting the business they will lower prices. who knows it might work.

Great challened this week - I think 58 dollars might get you on a wing of the plane though!

Ha! I'm staying at the Orem Hampton Inn on Saturday night, but I'm paying double what you'd pay!
(Filling up my tank costs a little more, too, we pay $1.22/litre)

Oh if you could be here we could go running together! This is great wishful thinking!

I liked this challenge a lot, it will be cool to look back and see that gas was $3.21 (in my case) a gallon.

Ha! like I am really going to get one of those. If I should get a rebate, I am buying a flat screen TV. I don't need the measly amount of money they would send to boost my financial status. Do you note a ting of disgust in my typed voice?

Going on vacation is a much more exciting way to spend that money. Too bad you can't go.

So sad you can't come! This weekend actually snuck up on me. I was trying to plan something else when my husband reminded me about the blog party.

The perfect "spend", Lelly. I'm also in the wishin' & hopin' & missin' the blog reunion group. NEXT YEAR!

I wish I could go too!! My son lives right across the street from the hotel, so I could hit both in one shot! I'm so sad. I was hoping for a miracle, that I would just have to go down to Utah, but it didn't happen. Bummer!

Guess I'm out of the loop on this Blog party thing in Utah? I hope you have a great time at home doing something fun with your family..
Any more gators at work?

That would be $59 well spent, Lelly. I wish we were both going.

If only. That's a great deal, by the way. And, I'll have you know, there's a new Hampton Inn going up less than half a mile away from where I live. I'm just sayin'...I'm here for a few more months;)

It's fun to see how much gas costs all over the country. Your prices make me appreciate Albuquerque gas prices a little more!

Fun post.
I don't like to go to store and shop, but I love looking online for fun things to buy - and then not spending a penny!
I have to admit that when that lovely check comes from Uncle Sam it is going into the bank. I am going to be a "bad" citizen and put it in savings.

I wish I could spend a few nights in a hotel too! It would be great to get away.

Thanks for another fun challenge.

That would be a fun weekend. Blog party in SLC. Wish I could go too.

that was a good one. I wouldn't mind staying at a hotel in orem. Then I could visit all the family down there without them trying to make room for us. I just got starting doing SPT because of Tilane (she's my sister).

I am sorry that you can get to Utah! But you have to love hotel discounts!

Next year...I know I'm saying it too! Sorry I skipped out on SPT this week. It just wasn't happening for me...sick kids and no creativity. Our gas is about the same.

I say that would be a great way to spend it as I will be missing the party too!
