spt - the merry month of may

if you've been stopping by amuse-bouche during the past month or so (and, thank you!, if you have), you've probably noticed a trend in my blogging. it's sort of become *all spt. all the time." this is a time of year for me that is extremely busy, and i'm so thankful that i have spt, which prompts me to visit my own blog at least twice a week.

so i'm really excited to try something new with spt this month. today, i'm going to issue the challenges for the entire month of may!! maybe this will free me up to blog about some other things going on in my life?!? who knows? maybe i'll continue this trend into future months? who knows? what i DO know is that i'm really excited about this month's challenge.

may means *wedding month* to me. and, no, this challenge is not going to be about weddings (unless you want it to be...) this month's challenge is simply:

tuesday, may 6 something old
tuesday, may 13 something new
tuesday, may 20 something borrowed
tuesday, may 27 something blue

take it literally, take it figuratively, but by all means, make a commitment to complete all four challenges for the month of may!

Hey, I like this a lot! Not that I'll be any better about SPT's but I like the subjects for May, and I like the advance notice, it will be fun to ponder.

I bet with your job you have loads of blog fodder by the hour. Wish it were more tasteful to have you spill the beans on your most colorful clients, because I bet you could keep us entertained!

How very fun! Good job getting May all at once, too! I love the picture too. Is that something borrowed or something you did?

Such a great idea, Lelly! I am hereby committing to do all four challenges. And this week's will definitely explain why I've been out of the loop on SPTing.

And I'm laughing at the prospects of Kelly A's last paragraph.

This sounds like fun! I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do! I think I'll just use a picture of myself for something old. The last month of school always has me feeling tired and old!

Love the advance notice. It's going to help! I think of May as a perfect month for weddings too - my anniversary is coming up and it's always been the BEST time of year to take an anniversary trip (none for us this year)!

I love that you posted the month of subjects. I want to say it will help me be more on the ball. But honestly I will probably only think about it on Tuesday. So a goal perhaps. :-)

As my friend, the uber first grade teacher would say, "Give your brain a kiss!"

I LOVE this idea and should make for several (hopefully) interesting weeks of SPTs.

Great idea! I actually had my gas post, but just didn't get around to posting it. Perhaps a double for next week?

I just had to say I love those little boxes! I'm a fool for a little box!

Great ideas for this month!

Also, you get a month of challenges out of the way all at once, and we have time to think of something creative.

Great idea!

I wish you would've been at the blog party- I thought about you. It just wasn't the same without you there.

I think it's cool that you're posting a month's worth of assignments and I think these are all very clever. There will be a huge range of responses to these for sure.
