Wow, you are right in the thick of it! I grew up in VA and every summer we rented a house on the beach at Holden's Beach. Have you ever been there? Ahh... memories! Hope you stay safe!
they say hannah might make it up here this weekend. i've never been in a major rain storm before (which is what i'm hoping it is by the time it sneaks up the coast). good luck!
One year there was a hurricane watch when we were going to Charleston on vacation. My mom and I called each other at 6:00 a.m. the day we left asking each other, "Aren't we supposed to go AWAY from the storm, not into it?!" We did end up going. The town had a lot of boarded-up windows, but all we saw of the storm was some murky water and jellyfish washed up on the beach. I hope that's all that happens in your neck of the woods!
This brings back memories, I went to college in Miami, Florida and in the 80's a big hurricane was predicted. Being from MI we had a "hurricane" party on the breaker wall outside of one the condo's a friend lived in! We got wet and wind blown but didn't spill our drinks! Hope you stay sorta dry (since you need some rain) and not too wind blown.

Well, hello over there. Hoping Hanna blow in some other direction or fades away!
That's how we felt last week watching Gustav and listening to the forecasters every.single. minute.
Good luck!!
Nothing like being right. in. the. middle.
Hopefully she continues to weaken and just leaves the needed moisture.

Whoa....hang on tight Lelly. I hope it blows right over and only leaves you the right amount of rain.
