like a hurricane, without the humidity.

i really wish i could have captured the rain as it fell behind me.
(hey, is anyone surprised that my hoodie is BLUE?!?)

If it weren't blue I'd have guessed orange. Would I be right?

You guys are getting pummeled with moisture.

oh, i love the nor-easter. mainly because i get to say nor'easter and feel like i'm a salty sailor in some billy joel song.

it brought us some like rain yesterday and is supposed to hit today and then follow me up to new york. have you transitioned to your winter wardrobe yet? i just bought new sandals for this trip and now i find out its going to rain. oi.

Reading your title brought the image of a lighthouse being pelted by the storms and seas to my mind. You old salty sailor, you.

I laugh because I just hung up a load of colored clothes from the dryer. I had them hanging on the door frames in the hall outside the laundry room...Kenny's on one door frame and mine on the other. When I was finished, I walked into the hall and it became obvious that I only wear green. There were 6 items of clothes on my side and ALL were some shade of green! The people that see me everyday must have thought I was turning into a little magical Irishman :o)

I am sooo shocked you are wearing blue?

We would be really happy to take some of that rain from you. Here it is almost October and it is still in the 90's and low 100's.

Not surprised at all. Not at all...
My color is brown. How boring am I?

Lelly-

I absolutely love the dreary and the bright contrast in your picture. You may not have caught the rain, but you caught the feeling even down to the BLUE sweatshirt- it pulls off the dreariness of your thoughts.

Great Picture!

Ha! That word makes me think of Billy Joel, too!

When I was in NC, it rained for two days and two nights and I was in HEAVEN.
