Our church doesn't do marquees, but I enjoy reading the marquees of other churches I pass. I read one yesterday that said, "Feed your faith and your doubts will starve."
A few years ago in the NHL run for the Stanley Cup, the Calgary Flames were making a real go for it. Edmonton, where we were living at the time, and Calgary have a long history of rivalry. After Edmonton had fallen out of the race, and Calgary was still going I passed a church marquee that said, "Pray for your enemies. Go Flames Go!" So funny.
What I can't stand are the ugly ones that churches post. There is a church near my house that used to have a huge billboard on their property that faced the interstate and it said "AIDS: judgement has come." Give me a break! The God I worship isn't hateful.

I love church marquees.
I have a picture of one that is at least 2 years old that still makes me laugh.
Have a wonderful day!
Love it. Where do they find some of these signs seriously?
good one.....there is a little church down the road from us that always has good ones. It always makes me smile.

I'm like the rest of your commenters, Lelly, church marquees have some great slogans....I also enjoy the flubs that are printed in church bulletins.
