i've seen this idea in several places recently, and knew it would end up in my home. (i already had the frame, so this really was a no-brainer.)
i loved this idea, using newspaper instead of scrapbook paper.
i printed the letters on pages from this week's stock exchange report. that's pretty scary, isn't it?!?

stock market = scarey
your boo sign = cute
I've seen this around and want to give it a try also but I'm not sure of how to pull up the letters on the computer. Is there a certain website that is good for this or do you need a particular program?
linda - i use dafont.com all the time. i know there are other websites out there that share free fonts. you just have to download them to your computer; then you will able to use them in wordperfect, word, etc.
FAbulous idea!! the stock exchange is definately the scariest thing ever these days....
I keep thinking I'm going to do this....
Very cute idea, to put it on the stock exchange! I might have to copy. I already bought the frame, because I liked the idea so much, too! Great SPT to help us find all these fabulous websites!
This is such a cute idea, but even better since you used the stock exchange pages!
I have seen this around, but love that you used the stock exchange print. Perfect.
Well, unlike everyone else who has commented, this is the first time I have seen this decoration, and I love it. You get to have all the credit for it too, since I saw it here first.
Can I even tell you how much I love that you are listening to Christmas music? YOU? So funny.
Oooo! I'm copying that one. So cute!
Very cute, and you can't get much scarier than the stock market these days. I am not good at decorating for Halloween. My kids are on my case to step it up this year. I might be able to handle this cute project. :-)
That is a great page to use.
I have never seen that idea. I love it!
That is a darling idea, Lelly! And I love your label...just noticed that.
I love that you used the stock exchange letters. Scary indeed!
Thanks for linking it to my blog!
Yours turned out great.
When I did mine I had a hard time finding a big enough spot of newspaper that didn't have colored ink. Until I did this project I never realized that the newspaper wasn't just black and white anymore.
Very, very clever. Nice way to commemorate an ugly week in the financial world. ;)
Thanks for the link!
It was such an easy project!
I made one for valentines day that said L U V....
Brilliant idea and--as everyone else has already noted--there is NOTHING scarier this Halloween than Wall Street! I can't wait to copy this idea :) Thanks for the inspiration Lelly...
I love that you used the scariest paper of all! What is up with our nation? Crazy times for sure!
cute idea!
That is SO cute! And scary.
