spt
because of a blogger...
i have many examples of how blogging has beautified my home (is that grammatically possible?!?) here is a quickie until this evening, when i can take time to do this post justice. the first day back to work after a four-day-weekend does not make for ideal blog posting!!
i never, ever, would have though of making seasonal pillowcases! ever!! but with inspiration from kristi and cristin, my family can now say they have slept on festive pillowcases! (i still don't have that embroidery machine, but a girl can dream!)

I had no idea you did that, how festive and fun for your family.
see, i think if i ever started this as a mother i wouldn't be able to stop, and it would get to the point where we'd never sleep on our regular pillow cases and one night you'd catch me running through the house like a mad women ripping cases off of pillows and yelling, 'It's VE Day, dammit! Where are your Union Jack pillow cases!!!'
you, lelly, are not inSANE though...
I'm BACK to SPT!! woo hoo I love this month's theme- you are so cool lelly... have a great day ;)
Very Fun Theme Lelly!
You rock!
If only I could sew! Very cute pillowcases, and very festive.
This was such a great idea LellY! Those pillows are so cute!
I've seen their festive pillowcases and the most I've done is print off Kristi's toothfairy pillowcases and give the idea to my mom, but she didn't bite. I don't sew, so for me it's a big thing that you did that for your kids. What a cute idea. It must make the holidays extra fun at your house.
Sleeping on holiday pillowcases--that were handmade with love--must make the holidays much more festive. Great idea!
Cute pillow cases! Thanks for the idea for spt today! I'm on the bandwagon!
Oh I am totally inspired. I love the idea of holiday pillowcases. Now if I can get past the idea of my kids sleeping on pillows that don't match the rest of the bed or their rooms -- that might take a little work! :P
I love being inspired by others
Lelly, I'm back on the SPT bandwagon...YEA! I'm lovin' this month's themes and am so excited!
I haven't sewn in years but just might have to get out the trusty ol' sewing machine for some holiday pillow cases. I love the idea!
I love this SPT challenge and now I'm going to steal the cute pillowcase idea from you.
Thanks
I just think this is such a great idea to showcase different inspirations, Lelly.
Hooray for seasonal pillowcases. It always amazes me how much fun they add to a room.
I love your valentine material, too. Good for you for getting them made.
oh how fun! pillow cases and the theme! looking forward to being inspired by more bloggers as well!
I love that you're spotlighting the joys and blessings of blogging. You are, of course, one of the biggest inspirations out there in blogland! *Love* those pillowcases!
So cute! I'll have to try those sometime . . . looks easy enough . . .
Hey Lelly...I stalk you from time to time on Amanda's blog. I'm always interested in her SPT and yours. Anyway, I have a little su-um, su-um on my blog for you. Check it out. www.bobbityblog.blogspot.com
Fun idea! And I loved the idea for this month. I will get so many more inspiring ideas from people, now!
This month is gonna be fun, Lelly!
Hi Lelly--
I am a little rusty with the spt and accidently put in the wrong url could you delete me...Kimallsup????
I'm with Lene about the pillowcases not matching their decor, but they would think it was so much fun... What is a girl to do?
I can't wait to try it out!
I keep wanting to do something fun like that but then think that I should wait until Kaylee is old enough to have a pillow case so I can just make the 4 and not have to go back to it. This is fun!
