makeover. takeover.

i've got to shake it up around here. change the color scheme. dust away the cobwebs.

i've been experimenting with some different widgets, gadgets and readers. you may see some new things. you may miss some old things. someday i will have a webmaster, and my little piece of the blogsphere will be custom-made for me. but in the meantime, please pardon the dust!

here's a topic of discussion for you: we are currently looking for a college football team to be *our* team. i went to a Division III college and matty went here, so needless to say, we don't have team that we necessarily identify with.

i'm partial to Georgia (two of my sisters graduated from UGA), and the only major college football game i've ever attended was in the awesome Sanford Stadium.

however, we live in NC, and in my quest to identify with this great state (and to encourage my seven year old to attend a *state school*), we're wondering if we shouldn't consider UNC or NC State.

who are you rooting for this weekend? how do you feel about me "taking over" another college's football team?

If you figure it out, let me know. Since I attended 3 schools, and two of them were Pac 10 schools, I get all confused when they play each other!! I am a Sun Devil, a Duck, and a Bobcat (Ohio U). I stick to pro football and my Dallas Cowboys!!!

sometimes it's so scary to switch your blog template because you don't want to mess it up or disorientate people, but i think it's a good move!

I am a die hard Nebrasaka Cornhusker fan. People who visit our stadium always comment on how nice our fans are and how much fun the games are. Come join us! :)

i would say start cheering for your local schools but which one? ya, that's a toughy, maybe NC because they have such a cool logo! or maybe cheer for them both! good luck with that!

LOVE the new colors. Yes I do. I am a big University of Arizona (WIldcats) fan as that is my Alma Mater, my husband is a Arizona State (Sun Devils) fan as that is where he completed his Masters. However, we are both BYU fans as that is where our kids go...BYU vs. University of Utah is always such a rivalry.

Isn't that what fall is about? College football, I love it.

LOVE your new banner up top. Those remind me of some great posts you've wrriten the past year.

I totally know how you feel. We don't really watch football, but baseball is so big here we feel it our duty to root for the Red Sox even if we don't really care...

Go for UNC.

I can't help you out with football at all, sorry. I just don't care about it!

Your new look, however, I can totally get behind. I gasped when it first started to load. A new grid! Orange! Lots of spts! love it.

I like your blog makeover and think your new banner is great!

I didn't cheer for any football teams today, but we had our first flag football practice tonight...does that count?

Your new header with all your gorgous faces peeking out at me made me smile. I love it! You do not need a webmaster. You are a webmaster.

I love your fall look. And I'm especially loving all the Lelly in the banner. You are definitely the SPT queen!

We (meaning Jim) are die hard ASU fans. So Georgia is our enemy this coming weekend (but we choked playing UNLV!#^@$*? last game).
