it's time for the annual soup swap!! we'll be swappin' on thursday, january 17th this year.
check out last year's swap here.
this was an easy, easy gathering to put together, and required just a few hours of prep to make the soup (after all, if you're going to make one pot, you might as well make one really. big. pot.!) check out my sidebar for a link to the official soup swap site.
let me know if you decide to swap this year!!

Has it been a whole year already? Only a year? The soup swap is when I first started reading you. You had me at soup.
I really, really want to do a swap this year. I'll be checking back often to copy every little idea you have!
Good luck with the 2nd.
What a great idea!
You will hardly believe this but most of my friends (who are all really skinny) don't cook! Truly, the make almost nothing from scratch- especially.
The Telling of Soup part sounds cool. I wish I was in NC right now! Homemade soup is the best and that display is making me hungry for a big bowl of something comforting and delicious.
I forgot all about this. I really want to to this sometime. Have a great time.
i love this idea, as you know.
i am with kelly- i remember it well and it was the first glimpse into the AWESOME-ness of our lelly.
sadly (!?!) our school is off for 4 day long weekend and many families are bolting. i guess it doesn't have to be that exact weekend. will keep you posted.
after my yummy cookie experience, perhaps i should "throw it out there"
We're definitely experiencing soup and stew weather here. I may have to actually make some.
For some reason I keep think of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi: No soup for you!
(even though I know those words are the very opposite of what you are doing)
That looks so good! I love soup. I wish I ate it more. I guess since I'm in charge of food prep, I could actually make my wish come true:)
