yesterday i did 14 minutes of walk 1/run 1
then i ended up running 3 more minutes during my walk home. it felt good - but i'm cautious of overdoing it this early. i'm going to really try to stick with moderate, moderate endurance build-up.
i tweaked my route a bit so that it *should* be exactly 2 miles with no loops.

oh, and i've decided to refer to the turkey trot as a *4K* - that sounds sooo much more impressive than 2.4 miles!!
