spt

i voted this morning, bright and early. there were only three items on our local ballot, but they were all equally important.

my question is, though, when did the pollsters start stalking you as soon as you get to the election site? one of them just about opened my car door for me (good thing they already had my vote!)

ok, i just couldn't bring myself to spt in front of the other voters, so i sat in my car outside the polls (with a very serious voting face, i might add.) what is it with me?!? i have SUCH a phobia about people watching me take my own picture in random places. does anyone else suffer from this?!?

did you vote today?

I didn't vote, but couldn't pass up on the challenge. Good for you for voting!

I was definitely going to vote today, but your challenge pushed me to go first thing and not let the day or crowds get in my way! Thanks!

I'm also finding myself singing patriotic songs already-
God Bless America!!

Thanks for giving me a reason to document this very important process!

Yes! And voting mid-morning without many others around it was quick and painless to grab a quick photo, although I do suffer from picture-in-public phobia too.

I do have a phobia about other people watching me take a self-portrait! The few times I have attempted it in public, I do it so fast that it doesn't really turn out...

ROFL about the phobia! Yes, I'm the same way! That's why I was glad I had my daughter with me. I mostly took pictures of her, then snuck in a few with both of us. My neighbor walked by and asked if it was a new hobby. Some things you just can't explain without turning into "that weird lady down the street".

Great voting face! I share your anxiety about being caught taking a self-portrait. Hence my very stealth SPT.

Lelly, it's hilarious to see you so serious!

I know what you mean about being self-conscious about being watched taking a self-portrait. I can't even bear to look at myself holding clothes up to a mirror in a clothes shop if I think people are looking (and I know they do, because I always look at other people doing that!!)Hahaha.

I voted! It was the first time I actually went to a polling station as opposed to doing absentee. It was pretty fun. There were only three items on my ballot as well!

Yeah for voting!
